Both J locations feature outdoor playing fields for baseball/softball, soccer and other outdoor activities. Please see below for specifics for each field.

Baer Ball FieldsCarlyn H. Wohl Building (Creve Coeur)
The Baer Ballfields are the home of the JCC men's and coed softball
leagues and numerous JCC youth baseball and soccer programs.
Senior
Olympics also uses the fields for numerous events around Memorial Day.
From spring to fall you will find fun events and a variety of
programming on the fields. Some of the features of the fields include:
- features four baseball diamonds with dirt infields
- large spaces for full size soccer fields
- space provides enough room for multiple teams practicing at once
- lights available covering two ball diamonds and one soccer field
- no alcoholic beverages
- no dogs allowed
Fox Ball FieldsMarilyn Fox Wohl Building (Chesterfield)The fields at the Fox Building are designed for youth play. There is
one dirt ball field and lots of space for other activities. Youth
soccer and baseball programs are run on the fields as are outside youth
baseball/softball teams who rent the fields.
I worked out at the J for over 14 years using the same elliptical machine over and over. Then a friend of mine with cancer told me to get healthy and live every day to the fullest. I started working with one of the JCC’s certified personal trainers and started strength training and running and I’ve lost 20 pounds and have never felt better.
