Camp SabraFor the past 60+ years, the residential camps of the JCC have been creating special memories for Jewish children and teenagers throughout the Midwest. Camp Sabra, and its predecessor Camp Hawthorne, have been providing a magical summer experience for campers and helping them develop lifelong friendships. As a Jewish community camp, Sabra offers children a place to be comfortable, learn and experience rich Jewish traditions.
The leadership of the JCC is committed to keeping Camp Sabra one of the leading Jewish residential camps in the United States. In 2004, the JCC committed over $2 million into Sabra for a variety of modernization projects. The funds have assisted in Sabra by creating a state-of-the-art aquatic center, renovation of camper cabins, renovated bathhouses and new senior staff housing units.
With all the renovations and the traditions, Camp Sabra is the number one residential camp for your child.
We help all our children in our Early Childhood Learning Centers to reach their potential - emotionally, physically, intellectually and socially.
