Carlyn H. Wohl Building
The Carlyn H. Wohl Building, located in the Mid-St. Louis County/Creve
Coeur area, is part of the 110 acre I.E Millstone Jewish Community
Campus. Opened since 1963, the Wohl Building/Millstone Campus features
numerous activities and facilities for the entire community to utilize.
Amenities include a 4,000 square foot fitness center, two indoor pools
(one is a warm water therapy pool), an outdoor pool, racquetball and
squash courts, meeting rooms, an early childhood center, health club
and a double-sized gymnasium. This campus is also the location of the
St. Louis JCC's summer day camp program, which serves over 2,000
campers every summer.
The annual St. Louis Senior Olympics is
also headquartered at the Carlyn H. Wohl Building. Other special events
that occur here include: St. Louis Jewish Book Festival, Annual Labor
Day Classic 5K and 10K Run, Used Book Sale and many other unique
activities sponsored by various JCC departments.

I worked out at the J for over 14 years using the same elliptical machine over and over. Then a friend of mine with cancer told me to get healthy and live every day to the fullest. I started working with one of the JCC’s certified personal trainers and started strength training and running and I’ve lost 20 pounds and have never felt better.
