Music allows children to explore, learn and grow and the JCC has several options for young children to experience music almost from birth. We believe that music is essential in the learning process and hope to see you and your children at the JCC celebrating music!

Kindermusik: Develop your child's lifelong appreciation for music and movement through this nationally recognized

Discounts Available: Register one child for any program and receive a $15 sibling discount or a $20 twins discount on the second registration, except for Family Time, which is already discounted for more than one child. There are also discounts on materials for siblings/twins.

Kindermusik Village birth-18 mos. with adultFall curriculum: Zoom Buggy & Dream Pillow. Celebrate the miracle of your baby each week through gentle music, play, dance, movement, sounds, instruments and touch. Your baby may be rolling and shaking chime balls, swinging gently in a blanket, or dancing the tango with you. Utilizing musical styles from classical to folk to nursery tunes to multi-cultural songs, your baby’s future musical abilities will be increased. With you at the center of this discovery, multi-level activities stimulate your baby to observe, imitate and learn. Adults learn how activities nurture development in every area of a baby’s brain, and educators give you fresh ideas for making music at home. Kindermusik Imagine That! 3-5 yrs
Fall curriculum: Hello Weather, Let’s Play Together. Taking a giant step beyond other preschool music programs, Imagine That! captures your child’s unique affinity to learn through pretend play. Activities using the child’s own imagination (that’s how children learn best) are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, rhythmic movement, and instrument exploration. Kindermusik Family Time 6 mos.-6 yrs for 2 or more childrenFall theme: Here, There, Everywhere. In one convenient class that families can take together, children will be introduced to musical concepts and develop musical skills. Your children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children, and enjoy music and movement with hoops, scarves and tumble-around play. Story time and family jams, puppet play and happy singing—all the Family Time activities encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you—and they'll start developing the skills they'll need in school and on the neighborhood playground.
