Chris can deliver that type of program, as he has done several times in the past for many individuals, ranging from first-timers to full-time athletes. Monica has also earned her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Biology and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Logan College of Chiropractic. She is a firm believer that people just need to be active. “I believe many of our medical problems can be traced back to lack of physical activity. I wanted to be apart of the fitness industry because it can make such a difference in so many aspects of a persons life.“

When working with clients, Monica follows the philosophy that customization is a key to achieve a client’s goals. “I believe that exercise is an essential element to achieve physical and mental wellness. My goal is to motivate and empower members with the knowledge and tools that are essential to achieve results. My commitment is to provide members with safe, effective programs.” There is always something to learn and there is always something to challenge you. Diana Campbell 001.jpgDiana Campbell has been working in fitness since 2002 and joined the JCC in fall 2006. She is an NSCA certified personal trainer, a certified Pilates instructor, and certified with Fitour as a group exercise instructor. She holds an Associates Degree in Dietetic Technology from Florissant Valley College. Along with working as a personal trainer since early in 2006, she teaches a Flexible Strength class at the Marilyn Fox Building. “Fitness is a part of life. It takes effort to make time to be fit and extra energy is the benefit of that effort,” Diana believes.

When you’re beginning (a fitness program), meeting with a trainer during the first few weeks allows the client to begin exercising with good form, and it creates a base routine from the start. After a few weeks it’s good to maintain meeting with a trainer so your workouts can evolve, providing a chance to get further instruction and add variety to the workout. Diana has been working primarily with women and those just beginning a fitness routine. She is available throughout the week in the morning or by appointment.

He can adapt to a clients personality, mood, pre-existing perceptions and more. ”I assist clients to make lifestyle changes they can live with,” says Maurice.

He feels it’s important in training to stay consistent, challenge yourself and keep variety in your workout. Maurice has been able to provide variety for a large variety of clients, ranging from 12 to 84 years old. He says he simply enjoys watching clients transform themselves into a better, healthier person. Maurice is available to help you make a lifestyle change Monday and Thursday afternoons and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings or by appointment.

I truly enjoyed the Maccabi Games experience. My host family was so helpful and nice and we got along great! I enjoyed meeting and competing with athletes from all over the world. I loved being with all Jewish teens—the feeling of everyone celebrating Judaism was great.
