Indoor Cycling (Spin)
Since the JCC brought Spin classes roughly 3 years ago, classes have
been packed, calories burned and butts tightened. Spin brought a new
era to the specialty group exercise classes at the J and we're excitied
to still make it available to members at both campuses.
Various one-hour classes are taught throughout the week from early am
to after work in both Chesterfield and Creve Coeur. You will be
able to find a time that works to Spin yourself to a healthier you.
Taught by certified trainers, Spin offers the chance for you to set
your own pace or keep up with the trainer for a workout you will
definitely sweat too!
the details...Indoor cycling (Spin) is a non-impact training session in a group setting working all parts of the body, specifically the legs, abdomen, back and hips.
In order to reserve a bike for an upcoming Spin class, interested
participants must call in advance to reserve their spot in the class. Classes
are taught in six-week rotations with new class times being added in order to
accommodate more spinners!
Age: 18 yrs and older

I worked out at the J for over 14 years using the same elliptical machine over and over. Then a friend of mine with cancer told me to get healthy and live every day to the fullest. I started working with one of the JCC’s certified personal trainers and started strength training and running and I’ve lost 20 pounds and have never felt better.
