Following Brighton Beach Memoirs and Biloxi Blues, this is the poignant conclusion of Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical Brighton Beach trilogy.  Set in Brooklyn in 1948, Eugene and Stanley Jerome, recently returned from service in the army, have begun writing comedy sketches which they hope will be a first step on the road to fame and fortune. 

Even as the boys are breaking into the world of comedy with their first radio sketch, their family and home life are rapidly disintegrating.  Simon’s award-winning play, an artful blend of hilarity and heart, is heart-felt, innately funny, and very moving.
