Capital Campaign

For 127 years, the Jewish Community Center has been the central gathering place for the St. Louis Jewish community. But today, the vibrancy of our community is at a crossroads. Distractions and the hectic pace of life have us connecting less and less as a community. There is only one clear path to strengthen and connect our distinctive culture and values for generations to come.

We invite you to see that future. We invite you to join in creating that future by supporting the $49 million JCC Capital Campaign. Walk with us!

Our Future

“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, what am I? And if not now, when?” --- Pirkei Avot 1:14

Where would the St. Louis Jewish community be without the JCC? For 127 years, the JCC has been a place where no one is a stranger. All are respectfully welcome across the full continuity of life. While this is a tribute to the spirit of the JCC’s membership, it also calls for our facilities to keep pace with changing lifestyles. Currently, the JCC serves more than 70,000 individuals of all races, religions and national origin each year and offers 250 programs engaging those from six weeks to more than 90-years-old.

The $49 million JCC Capital Campaign is a commitment to a vibrant future defined by state-of-the-art facilities combined with programs of excellence that are second to none. This future will take shape by dramatically improving the Carlyn H. Wohl Building in Creve Coeur, Mo., the Marilyn Fox Building in Chesterfield, Mo. and Camp Sabra in Lake of the Ozarks.

The new JCC facilities and programs will combine culture, education, fitness and family-oriented programs and services for all ages. Already, more than $40 million has been raised from generous donors committed to the vision. Join the momentum by adding your support to creating a future that rejuvenates the body, mind and soul.
