Jewish Living
Exploring, Living and Connecting Jewishly
Jewish values and identity are explored through educational, cultural and social programs that are open to anyone in the St. Louis community. From learning about Passover and Chanukah to attending Israel Independance Day, the J is here as a community resource. We strive to create innovative and opportunistic programs for you and your family so you can make connections within yourself and the community.
Helene Mirowitz Department of Jewish Community Life
Through the generous support of Helene Mirowitz, the J is able to offer programs, services and other opportunities for the community to explore Jewish heritage and values through the lifecycle. This starts with the Aleph Bet of Marriage, a workshop for engaged and newlywed couples, Shalom Baby, which welcomes new Jewish babies, The Mothers Circle, which aids in raising children Jewish when one of the parents is not Jewish to our Super Sundays of Jewish Learning which explores Judaism in several ways. Other exciting programs include our annual Women’s Spirituality Retreat, Mom’s Night Out and GesherCity. If just getting the kids out for a great time in the spring is what you're seeking, then Tour de Fun is a must. It's a kids playland with arts and crafts, inflatable rides, animals, large cars and trucks to explore.
