Culture Club is a committee of dedicated community members who suggest ways to enhance existing cultural offerings at the J, while brainstorming opportunities for new programming; collaborations; and partnerships between the J and other arts institutions, in an effort to promote the arts in St. Louis. Meetings occur regularly with one or two major events throughout the year.

On Saturday, January 14, 2012, the Culture Club hosted Oscar Andrew Hammerstein, grandson of legendary musical director and producer Oscar Hammerstein, for a night on Broadway. A Carnegie Deli-style dinner was served and performances from various Hammerstein musicals were performed, followed by a book signing of The Hammersteins: A Musical Theatre Family.

Sunday, November 21, 2010 saw the Culture Club celebrate the sizzling life of Sophie Tucker with A Red Hot Night. The evening featured select numbers from the New Jewish Theatre's production of The Last of the Red Hot Mamas. It was certainly a night of top hats, boas, and RED!
